I'm sorry, if you struggle to lose weight, you're not doing it right. Losing weight is dead easy. Keeping it off is dead easy too. Have your doctor check for any health problems which might prevent you from losing weight or recheck your food intake vs energy expenditure.
Losing weight is a very simple formula : Calories in < Calories out. Change the symbol around and you gain weight. Make it = and you keep your weight.
A lot of people don't understand this very simple mecanic which is the very basis of weight control. When you have this part down to a science, you can adjust the food intake to provide fibers/vitamins/proteins that you need.
I'm going to just assume you are young and have time on your hands. Because when I was young and had time staying trim was quite easy., Let's talk when you're in your 30's and are a busy professional

Here in the Netherlands we have Sinterklaas, he comes to us first by steamship, and then on a white horse. It is that important that the TV shows him arriving direct, plus tens of thousands are on the quayside. I hope to be there this year in Harderwijk on the 13th November with my grand children.
Gifts are given on the 5th December

It says it used different frequencies... but then how can people jailbreak/unlock their iPhones and use it on T-mobile?
It's EDGE only, 3G is what uses different frequencies.

I thought that the inverse scrolling was a bug, but in Lion Dev Preview 2 it is still there

The more carriers with iPhone reach, the better. Competition only benefits us, the customers.

Well obviously none of us here are going to be terribly interested if it's not Mac-compatible. That said, Apple has a lot to lose, so I hope they adapt and compete well.
So far, Microsoft's Hardware was always perfectly Mac compatible...

Pretty soon we'll be able to change the appearance of everything just like in Windows. I sure hope they invest many more man-years in the development of this technology.
(I get upset at least once a month because I can't change the appearance of something in SL, but this is a bit much. I guess they are running out of things for people to do. Time to thin the herd.)

Hyper-Threading (Intel Core i7 only) a technology that allows two threads to run simultaneously on each core. So a quad-core iMac has eight virtual cores, all of which are recognized by Mac OS X. This enables the processor to deliver faster performance by spreading tasks more evenly across a greater number of cores.
-.-
Come on only Hyper-threading with the i7 -.-
I was looking to verify that . . . it blows now that I know. I didn't want to have to spend the extra $200 for HT.
That's something I'll put on my list when I look at the next base model Mac Pro.
Wouldn't it be smart to wait for Lion in 2 months and get that for free...
Yes, it would, and I'd recommend that for anyone that doesn't need a new machine right this very minute.
I personally, needed one since I sold my Power Mac G5 almost 3 years ago. I've been dying ever since at the home office. I'd pay the $129 or whatever to get Lion later, and drop the cash on the iMac now if I needed a machine right this very minute.

can anyone tell me why this market is so important? even at .99 cents a song the margins for the retailer can't be that much.

I assume the iMacs and air books will get thunderbolt in the next few months. So where does that leave the iPad? Will it always be able to support thunderbolt too? Eventually?

Highly doubt it. Might just be an issue that a few devices are having but not across the board.

That mockup is hideous, but I imagine that the rumor is in line with what you could expect. A thinner iPhone with slightly upgraded internals , e.g. 64GB of storage, A5, 1080p/8MP rear camera, FaceTime HD front camera, larger (3.7-4") screen, and presumably the same or better battery life are almost expected at this point.
I could see the gestures and a tapered design. I think they're going to ditch the ice cream sandwich design for sure.

For the 1st gen iPad launch at Brea Mall, I arrived about 3 hours early, and there were approximately 100 people in line ahead of me.
I'll be hitting Brea about 4 hours early with my iPad and catching up on some reading. Maybe a game of Infinity Blade or two. I'm hoping that the InvisibleShield kiosk outside the Apple Store will have iPad2 specific screen shields in stock on day 1. I just want the lady to work on a few iPad 2s before she tackles mine to build up some experience.

You can say you made the 8% prediction, but why don't you back it up with some proof? I can say that I predicted Apple would release software to dual boot an Intel Mac but without proof who would believe me?
Ok photo-video here's the prediction that I made back on April 7, 2006:
"My prediction is that Apple will have at least 8% market share by the end of the Leopard Mac OS X 10.5 lifecycle."
Which can be found at:

Down, down through the could went the ship. Faster and faster, until it came to a stop near a few portals. lbro jumped right out, and ran to the nearest one. chrmjenkins and jav6454 followed him across the cold ground. "Dang it! We need a fuel cell for this thing!" lbro exclaimed. "Why don't you take the one out of your book?" chrmjenkins offered.
"You know, that might just work." lbor ran back to the ship and came back with a book that said Don't Panic on the side of it. He flipped it upside-down popped out the fuel cell and tossed Don't Panic aside into a nearby mud puddle. The fuel cell was a size BBB, but the portal needed a BB. lbor, in desperation wedged a few coins into the cell slot along with the fuel cell.
The portal soon turned on and opened into another real, that just so happened to be warm and sunny with little elves walking around. "No, I don't think that's right." lbro said as he spun the Z hold knob. After seeing many wonderful things, he finally got it right. Through he went. chrmkenins was not as accustomed to portal traveling. He stood about and fought with himself until jav6454 pushed him right in.

What time is the new FCP being shown? Will there be a live or after event stream? I was able to use the current version in a school class two years ago and I'm interested to see how it's going to change... Can't afford it today, but someday I'd like to replace iMovie with it.

I get the impression that one of the staff was videotaping and laughing along. Fortunately the older lady intervened. That was just awful. Was that hair towards the end?
