no finger print notice either. But I have heard that take a couple of weeks after the EAD and AP approvals. Some of them got them before the AP approvals came. its weired how they work..

Guess what you should only travel by First class, If you travel by economy they will catch you..... :))
Jokes aside, You should be ok your H1B extension/stamping has nothing to do with which Airlines you travel, How many stops you will make etc.. Some countries have restrictions if you don't have valid visa during transit. Check with Airlines.

For my final H1B extension, I used Chugh law firm and my employer did premium processing with them. Got my 3 yr extn in 2 days!!! Not sure if its the law firm or just my case.But they were prompt in paperwork and my interaction with them was only twice. Just honor their checklist and u r done.
However, for GC, I used Mr. Michael Khosla's (The Law Offices of P. Michael Khosla & Associates, P.C. www.usimmigration.net (http://www.usimmigration.net)) services. Reasonable fee and awesome service. Never had any issues and got my GC in 2010

Check the archives where people have done extensive study on this subject. In a nutshell, it is not a good idea to do multiple 485s. There are risks.

- Filed 140 in 04/2007 and filed 485 in 08/2007. Got EADs as well
- RFE on 140 after 2 years waiting (in fact it was on the last day of 2nd year. In between, it was passed thru all the 4 centers and came back to same place where it was filed). Education mismatch and other stuff. Employer responded in 21 days
- 2nd RFE on 140 after 30 days - Education mismatch - Again responded
- There was no response even after 60 days, so we called and created a service request.
- Finally the 140 has been denied today. I did not get the notice yet. I'm thinking, it is because of Education mismatch
The labor was for 4years degree and I have 3 years degree + 1 year post graduate diploma with 8 years experience by the time filing 140. And I did my masters in US, but I got this after couple of months of I filed my 140.
Please advice what are options available for me.

Do not worry I was in similar situation last year and my ex employer was from NJ.. I Complained to DOL and they made him to pay me...
Regarding the experience letter ... I saw in other forums that you can get experience letter from your colleques or Peers who worked with you...

the new congress will meet in Jan 2007 session and will decide what bills they will consider during that session and will come up with a timetable to discuss those bills. especially after new members are elected, i dont think they can discuss uncompleted bills from previous session (correct me if i'm wrong). all they can do is to come up with new version of bill if they want to pass.
so the option before congress is either a new CIR bill (or) SKIL bill if nt discussed earlier (or) any bill like border security which includes EB provisions.
I think the new CIR bill will take time because of its complications. so I prefer SKIL bill or EB provisions in any bill. let us see.....:)

Does anyone know if it is easier to get medical residency on EAD as opposed to H1/J1 or are you considered in the same boat as H1/J1 applicants?

On H1/J1 you have to find a sponsor to accept you in their program. With EAD you can work for anyone.Of course the pool of institutions accepting folks on EAD is bigger than H1/J1 .
Whether it's easier or not depends on your credentials , talent etc

No, you cannot show that period as experience. Moreover, by doing so you will be saying that you have been working during that period which would be illegal while on H4.

I think almost everyone has filed 485/140/EAD/AP.
I am just curious what exactly you want to know. Do you want to know when you will get your GC or about the receipts.
If you are looking for receipts, there is a thread going on for July filers by the name "July Trackers".
If you want to know when you will get your GC then i am sorry to say, even GOD cannot give you an idea.
